Great hiking/mountain biking trails. Super place to walk the dog on a leash. Be prepared to pay $2 per person.
We live in Edmond, but we just don't go here often, unfortunately. We love the outdoors and would love to kayak, walk, and ride at Arcadia often, but we are always so disappointed by the amount of trash at Arcadia. The shoreline is littered with fishing line, glass, plastic bottles, cigarettes, beer cans, bait containers, etc. It's damn depressing. Part of any trip we take to public lands is picking up the trash of careless visitors, but it feels like a lost cause here. It's just too much. Please people, leave no trace; do it for yourself, other visitors, and for wildlife. Our public land options in OK are very limited, let's take pride and make what we have beautiful.
Great place to go boating. We really like the beach and picnic areas.
I love the lake. Can go camping here, or have a nice BBQ. They have picnic tables, BBQ grills right by water edge. Can boat, jet ski or play in a safe area.
Excellent walking/bicycle trails. Large beautiful lake . Rest rooms. Camping, boating, swimming, and fishing . All areas very well maintained. Wonderful to visit.
